Loomis Books

The Loomis books are packed full of many important and fundamental principles that are foundational for any aspiring artist or seasoned veteran. I wish someone had told me about them years ago!

Though I found each of these books to have useful information, I put them in order of how they should be read - not by when they were written and published. Hence, beginning artists would benefit from starting with "Fun Drawing" and "Figure Drawing for All It's Worth." Professional artists may want to skip to "Creative Illustration" and "Eye of the Painter."
